Dear All,   As you all are aware TATA steel has announced scheme of Amalgamation of Tata Steel long products, Tinplate, Tata Metaliks, TRF with Tata Steel in Sept 2022. The Final date of amalgamation although has not been finalized yet, however for investors holding TATA steel who do not wish to exit their holding for long term can explore switching their positions to other entities which will get amalgamated into TATA Steel as shareholders will receive back (higher number of) Shares of TATA Steel.   The Scheme of Amalgamation : TATA Steel will Issue shares in following manner.   33 Shares of TATA Steel for every 10 shares held in Tinplate Co Ltd. 79 Shares of TATA steel for every 10 shares held in TATA Metaliks 67 Shares of TATA Steel for every 10 shares held in TATA Steel Long 17 Shares of TATA Steel for every 10 share held in TRF.
